About the Austin Bead Society
The Austin Bead Society was formed in October, 1990. The objectives of the Society are to promote education and research regarding beads and bead-related subjects, and to provide support to bead collectors, designers, and enthusiasts.
The Austin Bead Society meets at Camp Mabry the fourth Monday of the month. Programs are open to the public and include a short business meeting and an educational program. We’d love to see you there. Learn more about upcoming meetings.
Workshops are open to any Austin Bead Society member in good standing. Workshops are usually conducted on the Saturday of every other month (except during the summer). If it is a “for fee” workshop and there are seats available, openings will be available to the public at an additional fee. Stay tuned for upcoming workshops.
Membership is open to all. We’d love to have you join in the fun. Learn how to become a member.
